Vice- Chair: Alastair Fullwood Countryside Access Officer, Aberdeenshire Council

Members:

Doug Stewart Area Access Officer, Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park

Angus Duncan Access Manager, Falkirk Council

The main activity of the committee is the planning and organisation of two national conferences, occasional local networking meetings and to present the views of Access Officers on the national stage.

The day-to-day running of SCAN and practical conference organisation is done by a part-time administrator, to whom all enquires should be sent.

Membership

Individual membership is open to people in the public, private and voluntary sector who work in countryside access, rights of way and related issues. Following a review of SCAN and its duties and responsibilities, free membership of SCAN is available to all those with an interest in access in Scotland. You can register as a SCAN member by sending us your contact details through this link. The costs of running the organisation administration are met through conference fees.
